Meet Ignacio

Ignacio serves PlaceMKR as an associate, wearing many different hats across finance and development functions. He moved to Austin in 2014 and studied finance at UT Austin while working for a law firm, practicing tort law.

His experience includes institutional asset management with Dimensional Fund Advisors in Austin, immigration law with Julia Toro in Washington D.C., and CRE lending at U.S. Bank’s CRE Dallas Underwriting Hub. This diversity of experience enables Ignacio to quickly add value to the team in underwriting, financial modeling, and structured finance.

When not building communities with PlaceMKR, Ignacio loves to play soccer and is an avid Barcelona fan. He also enjoys skiing, camping, diving, and watching anything from Quentin Tarantino.

When asked what makes him so passionate about placemaking, Ignacio replied:
“I am passionate about creating environments that enable people to maximize their potential.”
